accees is two hours before or after high tide as this upper portion of the bay is very shallow

Hazards:
going dry at low tide

The falls are a must see when visiting or exploring Tutka Bay. The best view is from a bit off shore but it is pretty good from near the base of the falls. I recommend camping down the bay at South Grace Ridge, Tutka Bay campsite or Seastar Cabin.
