Lovely and popular site 7 miles from mouth of Tutka Bay. Fire ring, tent sites, latrine, established signs, and lovely vistas up and down the bay from all directions. Too far to paddle for day use and no trails for hikers to make a day visit. Water access is easy via a long sandy beach. Popular with kayakers and water taxis.

A crew of five volunteers from the Kachemak Bay Water Trail added a new outhouse to this site and dismantled the old one, hauled it away. Dave B.

Camped there this weekend. Camp site still in lovely condition. Latrine needs some work to the ventilation. System,

Made a quick stop here to put up a water trail site marker. It is a beautiful spot-even on a rainy, cloudy day.
