protected lagoon, primitive campsites

Many tent sites, primited and improved.  Directional signs for Grewingk Lake Trailhead. Occupied most summer weekends, may get overused.  May need outhouse, "leave no trace" signs. Bears seen in afternoons/evenings on south and southeast lagoon shores.  Day use for picnics and hiking to Grewingk Lake.  Trail access from using other trailheads.  Lagoon is protected but shallow, only for small boats during high tide.  Lagoon channel has strong currents and large rocks. Day breezes create breakers, so best to land during calm water.

Access Difficulty:
shallow entrance, small boats only at high tide
