Kayak Beach/Grace Ridge

Very popular beach, campsites, latrine, water, trail to Grace Ridge, Yurt nearby. A new tent platform was added at the south end of the beach last year. 2017 Trails Day crew added a new latrine near the tent platform.

Established site. Fire ring, tent sites (1 platform), food storage box, 2 outhouses,  picnic tables, water  (stream), and bulletin board.  One yurt nearby and another via short trail to Sadie Cove.  Start of Grace Ridge Trail.  Hikers pass through the site for the day to use the Grace Ridge Trail.  Most parties spend the night at the campsite or nearby yurts.  North end of Grace Ridge Trail can be accessed from this camp site.  Water taxis and kayaks access the beach from a long, sandy beach that accommodates several boats/kayaks at once.  Wind exposure from southwest.  Small surf may reach 1 foot.

Vessel Access:
Used frequently by water taxis and kayaks.

Access Difficulty:
Easy access. Watch for day breezes.
