Primitive site at head of China Poot Bay. Tent sites, water, fire pit, latrine, and kiosk . Yurt also nearby and public use cabin 2.4 miles up the Coalition Trail. Fishing, clamming, berry picking, and scenic and wildlife viewing.
Vessel Access:
powerboats on high tide or if channels are known. Shallow bay, so all boats need to go in and out on an hour or two before and after high tide. Good boat anchorage off the beach.
Access Difficulty:
Medium.
Hazards:
entrance to China Poot, strong currents, shallow mud/mussel bars

This upper portion of China Poot Bay is very scenic and a nice place to hang out.
